I have been pondering for months/years about writing/blogging detailed info about the walking/hiking the Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath, Stark County portion.

I think I know what I want to do. I actually have the first part, starting in the North and walking South, mostly done. I have ordered a couple books with some Towpath info, to enhance the experience.

I will be blogging/posting these in walkable segments… like 3 miles or less roundtrip.

I do need to get motivated to sit down and do it… as well as get out and walk it! It is hard to find much motivation when I am walking alone these days.

I’m hoping this will be interesting to anyone who wants to hike/walk the towpath but needs more information.
